Project Description

At the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, students were in quarantine. Many families did not have a device, so the school district loaned them Chromebooks. However, the curriculum provided through the virtual school required a program that was unable to be downloaded onto the Chromebooks, so I offered to create an alternate curriculum for the course using Microsoft PowerPoint, which was preloaded onto their devices already.

My Role

I designed and developed this course using the content from the online course through Connections Academy
I converted the course objectives designed for the original program into translatable skills using Microsoft PowerPoint while maintaining the learning coach involvement requirement
I integrated many screen captures that I took and added directional elements to make it user friendly
I distributed the curriculum to each grade level and provided support to learning coaches
